Christopher Davis
Our president and Creative Director has more than 17 years experience in the design and advertising industry. While attending the University of Florida in the early 90s as an Electrical Engineering major, Christopher worked as a freelance graphic designer. Discovering his true calling, he changed gears and now holds a Bachelors in Advertising with a minor in Studio Art from the University of West Florida. Through various company names over the years (Dovecot Graphics, Graphic Arts, Hansen Davis, Clever Ogre) Christopher has literally worked with thousands of global, national and regional corporations with clients as far away as Norway & Japan.
When Christopher is not in his creative space, he is in the woods engaging in off-road cycling or on the water sailing his micro-sized sailboat the “Nano” with his wife Leslie.
Dechay Watts
Our lead copywriter and public relations specialist, Dechay, owner of Watts Writing Studio, a professional writing services firm, improves the image of any company with skillful writing that effectively delivers key messages. She has worked as a copywriter and communications strategist for a wide range of companies including DuPont, General Motors Europe, Lancôme, and AppRiver. With more than a decade of marketing experience, a Bachelors degree in Public Relations and a Masters degree in Business (MBA), she bridges the gap between awareness and action.
Chris Dadant
"New Chris" joined Clever Ogre as Project Manager and Graphic Designer . Chris graduated in 2006 with a Bachelors in Fine Art focusing in Digital Media from Coe College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. After moving to Florida, Chris decided to pursue his interest in advertising and in 2008 graduated from the University of West Florida with a Bachelors in Advertising.
When Chris isn’t busy jotting ideas down on his yellow note pad, he can usually be found in his kitchen cooking for friends or outside enjoying Florida’s wonderful weather.
Kara Szostek
Our head of new media and owner of Lava Mouse LLC, Kara has nine years of experience in website design and Internet marketing, most recently serving as the Vice President of Wet Ink Daily Update, an Internet advertising company. Prior to that, she managed two website design companies, both based in Pensacola. Kara serves on the Board of Directors of the Gulf Breeze Area Chamber of Commerce, volunteers with the Emerald Coast Golden Retriever Rescue and is a student of the Brazilian martial art, Capoeira.
